We are looking for an IT focused Business Analyst to join our team at ECMS. This is a hybrid role with ample opportunities for growth.
Who you are:
You will have an extensive background as a business analyst within the financial service or insurance sector for complex projects with core strategic objectives , ideally with knowledge of London Markets.
You will have experience providing advice and guidance on functional interdependencies identified during requirements analysis and analyse processes and data flows through effective engagement with the client
Knowledge of analysis and validation of system and business requirements for implementation of new software and adaption of existing systems and processes
Able to review IT estate and gather requirements and map proposed solutions to the customer's requirements and recommending the best approach
You will have experience of taking ownership of Business Analysis work streams for complex projects with core strategic objectives
Able to review outputs of other project members in an internal assurance role to ensure delivery to defined standards
Experience of peer-reviewing the work of other business analysts and other project team members
Able to take nebulous concepts and form them into tangible deliverables and capture identified risks or issues
You will have expertise in underwriting, finance/accounts, claims, actuarial modelling
You will know your cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, GCP and private cloud
You would have been involved in projects involving APIs, micro services and other integrations as part of a micro services strategy
Be adaptable to methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
You're hungry to learn and have a restless desire to develop your knowledge and specialism
