We have delivered numerous complex data projects over the last few years and we are looking for talented Data Analysts to join us in delivering upcoming projects around Data Analysis, Data Remediation and Data Re/Platforming.
Typical data projects and activities:
Map and understand the current data estate and suggest improvements to meet business data goals
Map data flows through systems and defining the data lifecycle, populating data dictionaries
Design and architecture of new data solutions
Implementation of new data engineering tools and reporting services
Create new business processes for handling data and informing decisions makers and revenue generators alike
Establish Data Governance practices and Centres of Excellence
Create data lakes and other cloud data platforms for quick retrieval and use
Define and gather requirements and capability gaps to contribute to the design and implementation of cohesive end-to-end global platforms and standardisation of business processes and data flows.
Essential skills and experience:
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in financial services or insurance
Scripting skills - SQL (SSMS/T-SQL), R, Python, DAX
Good business understanding to contextualise data
Desired skills and experience:
Reporting tooling experience (tool agnostic)
Good business understanding to contextualise data
Experience with Data Governance, MDM and data modelling tools
